Elia was immersed in El Alquimista by Paulo Coehlo and occasionally a passage would compel her to read a passage to me. This song was inspired by those moments. Our friend Amanda Coleman sang it at the Beatnik a capella for my birthday and then the lovely duo of Faith & Tim Chinnock (aka Adobe Collective) covered it for their debut album.
