this song came in its entirety on my favorite walk, in the wash, with negra. my partner thought i was in love with someone else and i started to wonder if maybe i was a little bit. once my partner had left, though, that other person stopped coming around as much and i realized i was only trying to fill some kind of void that loneliness had created. not that i couldn't have loved her, too. what does it mean to be in love? it may be as simple or as complicated as someone who loves the same walk that you do. vic played the piano on this and i didn't let her do a second take.
