One morning while we were listening to records, my son thought he heard David Bowie saying one thing when it was really another but I liked what he heard so I wrote this down. Later, when the maestro “rose a meter and stepped aside” we played this song for him. I had thought it was for some other people but then I realized none of it would have happened without him. We attended the Holy Holy wake in the spring.
